Welcome to GameGauge.gg. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your data.

1. Steam Login

Users log in using their Steam account. When you log in, we only retrieve your public Steam username and Steam ID. We do not store or access your password or other private Steam data. There is no link between steam and gamegauge.gg accounts.

2. Stored Data

• We store your Steam username (which you may change to a custom display name at any time).
• We do not store the list of games you own. Game data is retrieved temporarily using the Steam API to personalize your experience, but it is never saved in our database.
• We do not log login timestamps or IP addresses.

3. User Reviews

Any review or rating submitted by a user becomes the property of GameGauge.
However, users retain full control over their submitted content:

• Users can edit or delete their reviews at any time via their profile page.

4. Account Deletion

Currently, we do not offer an automated way to delete your user account.
If you'd like to request account deletion, please contact us in our Discord channel.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the Steam Web API to authenticate users and fetch game data.
By using GameGauge.gg, you agree to Steam's privacy policy and terms of service as well.
